Since its Winter/Autumn Fall let’s have a discussion on whats on our beloved designers’ minds.
Wildlife Inspiration & Leather
This season we might see colourful wildlife peeking through a hole through dresses in leopard, zebra and many other prints so far. While business people aren’t left behind, well Silk and Velvet is already there why not Leather? Yes a cute little leather dress will definitely make you look more crisp in board meetings or impress your boss with one maybe.
Capes & Silver Bullets
Capes are also in-fashion empowering women worldwide inspired by superheroes genre maybe Thor I’d say. Fighting daily challenges, a woman needs a cape through the 2018 Winters, I guess. The sci-fi streak is also hitting autumn winds this season with designers showcasing silver touch through clothes like space glamazon landed on earth to slay the glamour world.
Tweed is also making its comeback this winter in an all new graceful avatar. This may add a new swagger to your winter wardrobe and the best thing is designers make it possible to be worn and matched with anything.
Rust Belts & Knife Pleats
For autumn as numerous designers advanced via the past, referencing the Seventies and its various penchants for shearling, brown and crochet. As rust shades are back around waist, those chestnut Chloé dresses, for instance, all come slashed to the waist. This winter may feel pointy as knife-pleats are back on chorus. Wearable with trousers or biker necklace or edgy heels.
Silk hits in, in scarves as well, coming in all prints and patterns, colours and shades of every kind. You also might see branding of logos roaming the streets on dresses. Whether it’s on your chest, waistband, or feet there is no escaping fashion’s blaring logos come autumn. All to ease the efforts to show-off!
Lastly saving the best trend for the last, it’s all about layering in a precise and crisp manner. As though you just walked off the runway instead. Winters might be too cold and heaters aren’t wireless yet, sosport every shred of cloth you own to stay warm.
Final words of wisdom, as fashion world constantly changes trends just follow designers and shop like hell, As Sophia Loren famously remarked, “A woman’s dress should be a like a barbed-wire fence: serving its purpose without obstructing the view.”
