After candy crush, PUBG has become one of the most popular game and many people are obsessed with it. PUBG has conquered the hearts and attention of everyone. From the youngest to the oldest member of a family, everyone seems to be captivated by this game. Moreover, the craziness of this game has reached an extreme level.
Divorce due to PUBG
UAE officials recently witnessed the most bizarre divorce case that was filed due to a fight related to the game. A 20-something old Emirati woman filed for divorce from her husband because he stopped her from playing PUBG.
“The woman justified her demand for divorce by saying that she was being deprived of her right to chose her means of entertainment as she derived pleasure and comfort from the game”, said Captain Wafa Khalil, Director of Social centre at Ajman Police.
Furthermore, the woman claimed that her husband was interfering with her right to choose the means of entertainment she wants. She alleged that the game was her source of pleasure and comfort. However, the husband explained that he was just trying to stop the family from falling apart. He was worried that his wife would fail to complete her duties and responsibilities that she has towards her family. He never thought that this would take such a bad turn.
Captain Al Hosani told Gulf news that this was one of the most bizarre cases that they have received in regards to online games.
“It was well within limits, she said, adding that she had not activated the chat option where she would be exposed to strangers and was playing the game only with her friends and relatives”, said Hosani.
The woman also said that her personal chat options were closed so that no stranger could text. Also, she said that she was only playing with her friends, relatives and family.
Apart from this, there have been numerous requests from parents of various countries to ban PUBG in their respective countries. There have been complaints about kids becoming addicted, failing in their subjects, isolating themselves, all due to PUBG.
