Bollywood and nepotism go hand in hand. This point was first raised by Kangana Ranaut in one episode of Koffee with Karan. Numerous jokes did the round, however with Jhanvi Kapoor being the lead in the newly released ‘Dhadak’ the statement does have some weight. Well, to top it all, King Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan featured on the latest cover of Vogue India.
Both Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan took their twitter accounts to welcome their daughter to the world.
Thank you @VOGUEIndia for Suhana's shoot…

Holding her in my arms again thanks to Vogue. ‘What imperfect carriers of love we are…” except when it comes to our children. So sending u all my love & a big hug. Hello Suhana Khan! pic.twitter.com/RrkhJ8kfz5

The 18 year old has only communicated that she wishes to be on the big screen someday. She hasn’t even completed college yet, but being the daughter of the biggest star in Bollywood certainly has its perks.
With big stars like Rihanna being on the cover of British Vogue and Beyonce for the US counterpart, it really comes as a shock as to why a ‘student, theatre lover, and future star’ made her appearance on the Indian issue.
Twitteratis were quick to comment on this issue. Some even suggesting that there are far more deserving candidates- for example Hima Das. The feature sets a very bad tone for young impressionable girls. It really puts it out that the era of working hard to get fame is gone and it really matters where you are born.
Suhana khan gets to be the face of a leading magazine just for being SRK's child where there are girls busting their asses in various fields to get half of that recognition is where it's at.
Hima das won Gold.

Others were confused as to why such a privileged magazine featured someone who doesn’t even have a single project to their name.
Really don't believe in celebrity bashing, but why is Suhana Khan is on the cover of Vogue?
Technically this isn't even celebrity bashing, because she's not one, her father is.
My dad is an accountant, will ICAI put me on their monthly magazine cover?

Vogue made things worse for themselves when they disabled comments on photos featuring Suhana.
However, some users gave their support to the youngster. One of them being Karan Johar who took to Twitter and wrote:
“Have seen her on stage and had my heart bursting with pride!! She is stunning, soulful and a bonafide talent! Welcome to the spotlight my darling! Even in its harshest moments it will envelop you with immense love….and thank you for never calling me UNCLE! Love you.”

Well, we can only wait and watch how things turn out for Suhana and if her journey is actually going to be ‘suhana’.
