Comic Con Bengaluru 2018: Photo Gallery

The 2018 version of the Bengaluru Comic Con was held on 17th and 18th November. The 2-day event was unmissable for every comic book geek. More than 50,000 people attended the ultimate pop-culture fest. The Scroll Lab squad attended the convention for the first time and it was an experience of a life-time. Being comic book nerds ourselves, coming across people who loved the same stuff as we do, was absolutely amazing.

Cosplayers once again gathered from across the world to dress up as their favorite characters. Truth be told, it was as realistic as it could get. We met cosplayers who legit prepared for months in advance, stitching, and putting together their costumes. They braved the Bangalore heat and posed for pictures in their heavy costumes and were cheered for their effort. However, the cosplayers weren’t the only attraction. An opportunity for fans to meet their heroes, score autographs, buy collectibles from different stalls was an added benefit. No matter how niche the category, you would always find someone who you could interact with.

It is far greater than just a convention. It is a way of life.
