Ather energy innovating markets
Did you know that the Ather scooters are connected to a mobile app ‘Ather One’? It helps the user with Navigation, parking spots, and also finding charging points! Ather One also aids the vehicle owners with service details and unlimited rides, where one doesn’t have pay for charging the vehicle. Isn’t that such an advantage? If you charge the scooter at home, the cost will be reimbursed. Pretty cool stuff. The vehicle charges up to 80% in less than an hour’s time!
It has a touch screen dash that displays the Vehicle control unit (diagnostic system) to constantly monitor the rider’s behaviour, GPS as well as an indicator that shows the remaining range left before you have to charge the vehicle yet again.
The vehicle has revolutionized the world of commuting with ‘0‘ carbon footprint which provides the Bangaloreans with a more efficient and effective way of commuting in the city without destroying the environment. Hats off to such a brilliant move by the IITians.
The demand for the bikes is so much that the capacity of the 6500 bikes manufacturing unit isn’t sufficient enough. The ‘HYPE’ is real as there is a huge waiting period for these bikes (approx 9months). The company has confirmed that it will expand its branches in various cities in the country starting with Chennai.
All power to you, Ather Energy!
