Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1: Specs and Features

Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics company, Asus recently launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1. The company is one of the largest in the world in terms of computer hardware products like desktops, laptops, and smartphones. However, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is one of their flagship products. This handset was launched mainly to compete with the Redmi Note 5 Pro which had a huge success in the Indian smartphone market.

Display:

The all new Asus Zenfone features a 5.99-inch touchscreen display. The tech giants also provide a 1080×2160 pixel screen resolution with an amazing pixel density of 403 ppi. This gives the users a sharp and vivid display.

Specs:

The phone measures 159.00 x 76.00 x 8.46 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 180.00 grams. The handset comes equipped with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded upto a massive 2000GB with the help of a microSD card. Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by octa-core processors and 4GB RAM which is placed on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. It uses Android 8.1 (Oreo) as its operating system and the Adreno 509 graphics chip smoothens the gaming experience. Overall, the 3GB RAM helps  you use and switch between apps very quickly.

Camera:

The Max Pro M1 uses dual primary camera feature much like its competitors. The primary camera is a 13+5MP setup with features like face detection and autofocus. The 5MP rear camera is a boon for selfie experts as it is accompanied with a soft light flash.

Battery and Connectivity:

A 5000mAh battery backup powers the Zenfone Max Pro M1. This is more than its nearest competitor, Redmi Note 5 Pro which comes equipped with a 4000mAh non-removable battery. The dual-sim handset has connectivity options such as 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Asus has also laid out several types of sensors like compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor as well as an ambient light sensor.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes in two colors; midnight black and grey and is available in India for a price of Rs 14,999.
